I've always been interested in AI, I did my master's degree in Neutral Networks, so what better way to combine this with my chosen industry?

ChatGPT is an AI tool that has been creating a lot of buzz through its ability to respond to complex questions with full English reasoned responses.

I asked ChatGPT current energy policy questions, the questions here are repeated in full, the responses are truncated as ChatGPT gives full answers...

There are a number of ways to make energy more affordable for consumers, some of which include: government subsidies, energy efficiency, weatherization (government support to making homes more efficient), community schemes, innovation in generation, competition, net metering

This is a comprehensive set of answers to complex questions. Perhaps it lacks a point of view, and perhaps if we weren't debating these subjects it wouldn't have the content, but to respond so coherently in seconds is amazing.

Next time I write a paper I’ll certainly have a ChatGPT window open. And as for my daughter's history essay on the role of women in socialist policy, it might not get her degree, but it would certainly pass GCSE!
